Why I am not happy – Andre Onana
Andre Onana, goalkeeper for Manchester United, has stated he is ‘not happy’ with his performance at the club so far this season.
Last summer, Onana joined Manchester United from Inter Milan in a £43 million transfer to replace David De Gea.
However, after being named the best goalkeeper in the Champions League last season, Onana’s form for Manchester United has been well below par.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper has made a number of high-profile errors in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
“If I have to speak about my season so far for Manchester United, I am not happy because I know I can do much better; I’ve done it and I know I will do it better than what is happening now,” Onana told Sky Sports.
“We are not facing a good moment. I hope things will change as soon as possible.
“But listen, you want to tell me that in six months, the best goalkeeper in the Champions League last season can become the worst in the world? Nah.
“Everything is temporary. I know it will be alright. If not today, it will be tomorrow; if not tomorrow, the day after tomorrow.”
