2023 WWC: Falcons come from behind to defeat Australia 3-2

Super Falcons of Nigeria have defeated the host nation Australia 3-2 after coming from behind to clinch thier first victory in the 2020 Women’s World Cup.
Thanks to Asisat Oshoala who came on and got things heated up for the Falcons.
Goals from Kanu, Osinachi Ohale, and Asisat Oshoala was enough to see off the Australian side.
Van Egmond opened scoring for Australia and Alanna Kennedy scored an injury time consolation goal for the Australian side
As of right now, the Super Falcons simply need a draw to ensure their place in the knockout rounds. Australia must defeat Canada.
