President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a countrywide broadcast on Sunday, October 1, 2023, as part of celebrations commemorating the nation’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.
Tinubu’s broadcast begins at 7 a.m.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, made the announcement on Saturday.
Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are urged to connect to the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria network services in order to broadcast.
Meanwhile, former President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated President Tinubu and Nigerians on the country’s 63rd anniversary.
Buhari expressed confidence that Nigeria’s democracy will continue to grow.
The former president said in an independent message signed by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, that Nigeria will continue to inspire the African continent.
