The Colombian parents of Luis Diaz, a winger for Liverpool, have been abducted.
While his mother has been saved, the player’s father is still being held captive.
La Guajita claims that on Saturday night, “assailants on motorcycles” kidnapped Diaz’s parents.
To attempt to save them, the military and police have gathered their men.

The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, affirmed Cilenis’ independence in a succinct statement.
“In operation padlock in Barrancas, Luis Diaz’s mother has been rescued. We are still searching for the father,” Petro said.
