Binani vs Fintiri: S’Court reserves judgment on Adamawa guber election
The Supreme Court deferred decision on Monday in the appeal filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its Adamawa State governorship candidate, Aisha Dahiru, nicknamed Binani, against the state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party.
After hearing the parties’ arguments, the Supreme Court’s five-member panel led by John Okoro adjourned the case for judgment on Monday.
According to Platinum Times, Binani’s lawsuit against Fintiri was dismissed by the appeals court on December 18, last year.
Binani’s suit to remove Fintiri from office was previously dismissed by the governorship election tribunal.
