AFCON: Jubilation as Nwabali returns to training ahead of Angola clash

Stanley Nwabali, a goalkeeper, returned to training on Tuesday night following a remarkable recovery from injury.
Nwabali suffered a minor ligament injury during the Super Eagles’ 2-0 triumph over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon last Saturday.
The Chippa United goalkeeper trained separately on Monday as the Super Eagles began preparations for their quarterfinal match against Angola.
On Tuesday, the shot stopper practiced with the goalie trainer at the Police College in Cocody, Abidjan, to ensure that he is ready to face the Palancas Negras.
He was no longer hobbling as he went through the usual goalkeeping workouts.
Nwabali is scheduled to take another test on Wednesday to determine his fitness level.
