2023 WWC: Super Falcons out of the tournament after losing 4-2 to England on penalties
The FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is currently taking place in Australia and New Zealand, will not feature Nigeria in the quarterfinal.
This comes following the Super Falcons’ Round of 16 loss to England on Monday, which ended in a penalty shootout.
After 120 minutes, Nigeria and England had a 0-0 draw.
