A cooperation between the Nigeria Professional Football League and LaLiga has been launched in order to develop Nigerian footballers.
The collaboration, according to NPFL Chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye, was created to increase the viability of the Nigerian league and to reward effort.
For two weeks, the NPFL All-Star team will visit Spain to engage in friendly competition with elite LaLiga teams.
Along with the team, the coach with the highest point will travel.
The technical committee for the All-Stars has been established by the NPFL.
Harrison Jala is the committee’s chair, while the other members are Austin Eguavoen, Daniel Amokachi, Godwin Nwa, Deji Omotoyinbo, Segun Agbede, and Mitchel Obi.
September 9 will mark the commencement of the 2023–24 NPFL season.
