John Obuh, a former Flying Eagles head coach, has been named the new chairman of Abia Warriors of the Nigeria Premier League.
Emeka Inyama relinquishes control of the Umuahia-based side to Obuh.
The 63-year-old recently worked with the Abuja AS Roma Academy.
After spending the most of his time as a coach in the football community, this is the first time he will be in charge of a club’s operations.
2019 saw Obuh’s final coaching position in the Nigerian Premier League with Akwa United.
He once played for the Rangers, Sharks, Kwara United, and Niger Tornadoes.
