AC Milan, Chukwueze reaches agreement on personal terms

As they continue to pursue the Villarreal forward, Italian powerhouse AC Milan are said to have agreed a verbal term with Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.
Friday saw the Rossoneri finalize the acquisition of Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea, and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that they are excited to have the winger join their team.
Milan has been considering signing the 24-year-old for a time, but Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Aston Villa are all intrigued.
The Nigerian, who has a year remaining on his existing deal, has a price tag of €40m set by the Yellow Submarines, but they are open to hearing proposals.
“Milan took four yeses, like at talent shows, plus one. Christian Pulisic, Yunus Musah, Tijjani Reijnders, Samuel Chukwueze: four goals shook a very virtual hand with Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has already signed. Everyone wants Milan, everyone has an agreement in principle to move to Milan.
“After reaching an agreement with the players, the Rossoneri will begin negotiations with the clubs. Milan now have to deal with Chelsea, Valencia, Az and Villarreal… and it won’t be easy.”
However, the Yellow Submarine will only sanction Chukwueze’s departure from Estadi de la Ceràmica if the demand of at least €25 million plus bonuses is met.
Chukwueze has had a remarkable season under the guidance of Villarreal coach Quique Setién, scoring an impressive 13 goals and providing 11 assists.
