In the 36th minute, Ivan Salvador gave Equatorial Guinea the lead.
But two minutes later, Victor Osimhen’s excellent header brought the score back to even.
The second half saw neither team score, and they each ended up with one point.
On Thursday, Nigeria will play the host country.
