Angry protesters storm EFCC hqts, seek reopening of Matawalle’s corruption case

On Friday, a group of demonstrators stormed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s headquarters in Abuja and demanded that the body restart its investigation into the alleged corruption case of Bello Matawalle, the former governor of Zamfara State.

According to Channels TV, the EFCC Director of Public Affairs, Wilson Uwujaren, who received the protest letter on behalf of the Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, assured the protesters that the commission would pursue corruption cases to a logical conclusion.
