APC primaries in Ondo continues today
Today will mark the conclusion of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Ondo state, which took place on Saturday, April 20.
Announcement of election was scheduled to begin 7am today but was put on hold.
The primary election held in 203 wards across the state but violence was experienced in some wards of Akure, Okitipupa and Ilaje.
Some of the aspirants protested over non-availability of election materials.
A member of the Primary Election Committee who preferred not to be named said the election was inconclusive in some areas of Okitipupa and other parts of the state.
He said final collation of result would begin after the elections were concluded.
