Arsenal make improve offer to sign Havertz
The premier league team Arsenal have made an improved second verbal offer of £60m for Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz.
According to Daily Mail’s Sami Mokbel, who reports on Tuesday that after seeing their initial £50m bid turned down, the Gunners have returned with a second bid worth £55m up front, with a further £5m in bonuses.
The north London club reportedly already have a broad agreement in place over Havertz’s personal terms, with the German international offered a long-term contract worth £210,000-per-week.
Chelsea are said to value the 24-year-old at £70-75m, and it remains to be seen whether they are willing to come down on that price.
