BREAKING: APC declares Edo guber primary election inconclusive, fixes new date for completion

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has introduced a fresh twist to the contentious primaries for the Edo State governorship election on September 21, claiming they have yet to be completed.

As a result, the party set the process’s completion date for Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Felix Morka, the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, revealed this while reading the National Working Committee’s (NWC) resolution at a meeting on Tuesday night.

He said,

“At its emergency meeting held today, Tuesday, February 20, 2024, to consider the report on the Edo State Governorship Primary Election, the National Working Committee (NWC) deliberated on the report and resolved that the Edo State Governorship Primary Election has not been completed, and has now fixed Thursday February 22, 2024 for the completion of the Primary Election Process.”
