Zack Orji, a veteran Nollywood actor, is claimed to be dangerously unwell and has been transported to the National Hospital in Abuja’s ICU unit.
According to a video published online, the 63-year-old actor collapsed in the bathroom after feeling extremely weak for several weeks and was transported to the hospital, where he is having a battery of tests to determine the source of the problem.
According to a TVC report, he has been unable to walk or speak since the incident began.
Meanwhile, Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), for which Zach Orji has affection and fiercely campaigned during the 2023 presidential election, begged for prayers for the legendary actor in a Facebook post this Sunday, December 31.
Igbokwe wrote:
“Nollywood Actor Zack Orji in critical condition in the ICU of the National Hospital in Abuja.
“According to reports Orji can’t walk or talk, and all kinds of test is being run on him to ascertain what is wrong.
“He was rushed to the hospital two days ago after he slumped in the toilet after being quite weak for a few weeks.”
An actor, director, producer and filmmaker, Zack Orji is known for his role in Nollywood movies, Glamour Girls and Blood Money.
