Mrs Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju has been confirmed as the Nigeria Immigration Service’s (NIS) substantive Comptroller-General.
Adepoju made the announcement while speaking to NIS troops and officers at a routine march on Wednesday.
She stated that the date for her award would be made public in due course.
“You may also wish to know that through the grace of God and by the benevolence of the present government, I have been confirmed the substantive Comptroller-general of Immigration,” She added.
Remember that Adepoju was the most senior Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) designated as the acting CG to manage the NIS.
She succeeded Isah Jere, whose term was set to expire on May 29, 2023.
