At a press conference later today, Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, would most likely address President Bola Tinubu’s academic records revealed by Chicago State University (CSU).
“This is to inform and invite you to the World Press Conference of Our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON, at the Yar’Adua Centre, Tomorrow, Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the afternoon,” a statement accompanying the press conference invitation reads.
“The precise time will be communicated soon.” Please make every effort to attend. Thank you very much.”
Remember that, in response to the President’s disclosure, Atiku obtained Tinubu’s education records from the CSU via a court subpoena.
Tinubu’s 1979 CSU certificate, which he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was different from samples of the certificates the University provided to students that same year, according to newly released records and a deposition on Tuesday.
The CSU Registrar stated under oath that he could not certify the certificate Tinubu provided to INEC.
Since the documents’ release, Atiku has remained silent.
