CSU certificate saga: Join me in fight against injustice – Atiku urges Obi, Kwankwaso, Nigerians

Atiku Abubakar has urged Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) to join his fight for “justice” in the President Bola Tinubu certificate scandal.

Atiku, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president in the 2023 election, asked Chicago State University to release President Tinubu’s certificate because he believed the document the former governor of Lagos State submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) might not be genuine.

Atiku, who is challenging Tinubu’s election, called on Obi, Kwankwaso, and other Nigerians to join his quest for “justice” over the incident even though the school had already sent the certificate to Atiku’s team.

“Let me appeal to all well-meaning Nigerians, leaders of thought, our religious, traditional, community, and political leaders, especially Governors Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP, and the leaders of every political party in Nigeria, and indeed every single person who loves this country as I do and who wishes nothing but the best for this country as I do, to join me in this campaign to enshrine probity, accountability, and the rule of law,” During a press conference on Thursday in Abuja, he added, “This is a duty for each of us.

More to come…
