The Direct Mode of primary election has been adopted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the upcoming Edo State gubernatorial election.
Duro Meseko, the party’s deputy national publicity secretary, addressed journalists at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja and emphasized the decision made by the National Working Committee at a meeting of stakeholders.
The party’s resolve to retake Edo State was underscored by the deputy national publicity secretary, who also mentioned that 29 candidates had shown their interest in running in the primary.
