EFCC grills former Kwara Governor, Abdulfatah over alleged money laundering
Abdulfatah Ahmed, a former governor of Kwara State, is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for transactions totaling billions of naira during his tenure.
According to a Channels TV report, the former Kwara governor arrived at the anti-graft agency’s Ilorin office on Monday morning, February 19, 2024.
According to the medium, Ahmed was invited by the EFCC and is now answering questions on how these funds were handled during his government.
Ahmed served as governor of the North Central state from May 2011 to May 2019.
