EPL: 2024 Man Utd unbeaten run continues with 2-1 victory over Luton

Manchester United extended their unbeaten streak with an underwhelming 2-1 victory over Luton Town in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag’s side took a two-goal lead after only seven minutes, due to a brace from Rasmus Hojlund, however Carlton Morris equalized for the home side shortly after.

Rasmus Hojlund’s early double was enough to secure Manchester United’s enthralling 2-1 Premier League victory over Luton Town on Sunday, moving them closer to the top four.

Danish striker Hojlund capitalized on a defensive error to give United the lead after 37 seconds, then scored it 2-0 with only seven minutes remaining to put his team in command.

Luton, battling for relegation, rose to the occasion, with Carlton Morris’ bold header cutting the score in the 14th minute.

The only surprise in a wide-open game was that no more goals were scored, despite both teams creating decent opportunities.

Sixth-placed United squandered numerous golden opportunities in the second half, and Luton’s Ross Barkley hit the crossbar in stoppage time.
