Harry Kane continues scoring form, nets hat-trick against Bochum

England captain Harry Kane scored three goals and provided two assists as Bayern Munich maintained their perfect start to the Bundesliga season.

Kane reacted immediately in the first half, smashing home a loose ball in the Bochum box before converting a penalty after the break.

In the 88th minute, he claimed the match ball by turning home a pass from Noussair Mazraoui.

Kane made great passes to set up Leroy Sane and Mathys Tel.

The Bavarians also got goals from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Matthijs de Ligt.

Kane has seven goals in his first five Bundesliga games, helping Bayern to a 4-3 Champions League victory over Manchester United on Wednesday.

His hat-trick on Saturday was his first in the Premier League since December 2017, when he scored trebles for Tottenham against Burnley and Southampton.

Bayern Munich presently leads the table with 13 points after four victories and one tie in their first five games under Thomas Tuchel.

Bochum, who were torn apart and overwhelmed whenever Bayern went forward, is still looking for their first victory of the season.
