Heavy security as Supreme Court gives verdict on seven Govs fate

As the Supreme Court will be rendering decisions in seven governorship cases, security has been stepped up inside and outside of the court’s grounds.
Our correspondent saw that heavily armed security guards from the Nigeria Police, Department of State Services, and Nigerian Army had blocked off all roads leading from the Head of Service office to the Apex Court.
Lawyers, party members, and unaffiliated media are also excluded from the court.
In the governorship contests in Lagos, Kano, Zamfara, Plateau, Ebonyi, Bauchi, and Cross River, judgements are anticipated to be rendered.
Platinum Times reports that the supreme court’s rulings on the appeals of the governorship election are final.
