Johnny Evans joins Manchester United on a short-term loan

Jonny Evans, a defender from Northern Ireland, has renewed his short-term contract with Manchester United.
The 35-year-old, who departed Leicester City at the conclusion of the previous campaign, has been recruited after training camp trainer Eric ten Hag was impressed.
Evans can participate in friendlies against Lyon and Wrexham thanks to the agreement.
Before leaving the club in 2015, Evans played 198 games while there and won three Premier League and one Champions League championship.
In the beginning, the Manchester United academy grad was working out with the U21s as he deliberated his choices after leaving the Foxes.
Additionally, he participated in several first-team practices, which drew the attention of Ten Hag and his coaching staff.
Prior to playing against Wrexham in San Diego the following week, Evans, who has 102 caps for Northern Ireland, will fly to Edinburgh for the Murrayfield match against Lyon on Wednesday.
