Rt. Hon. Ghali Umar Na’Abba, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, has died.
Na’Abba, the current 4th Republic’s second Speaker of the House of Representatives, died in the early hours of Wednesday.
As of press time, our paper has not been able to obtain information about the circumstances surrounding his death.
He was elected to the House of Representatives from Kano State in 1999. He was elected Speaker a few months after the House was inaugurated, following the departure of the previous Speaker, Salisu Buhari, from the same Kano State, over a certificate fraud issue.
