Birth
Toyin Abraham was born on September 5th, 1980, in Auchi, Edo State and given the name Olutoyin Aimakhu.
She was raised alongside her four eldest siblings in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria by her parents.
Education
She had her early and secondary education at St. Annes school in Ibadan before obtaining a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Marketing from the Ibadan Polytechnic and thereafter a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophical Sciences from Olabisi Onabanjo University.
Career
Toyin began acting in 2003 when actress Bukky Wright, visited Ibadan to shoot a movie and has since appeared in numerous Yoruba and English language films.
During the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards, Toyin Abraham was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Yoruba Film titled Ebimi ni, alongside Joke Muyiwa, who was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Yoruba film titled Ayitale, she also featured in the movie, Black Val.
Martini Animashaun, the CEO of Tinimash Entertainment, created and managed her reality show titled, Keeping “Up With Toyin Aimakhu”.
In addition to acting, Toyin Abraham has also ventured into film production and has produced several successful movies through her movie production firm, Toyin Abraham Productions
She is also an entrepreneur who owns TAJ, a luxury fashion boutique based in Lagos.
In 2014, she signed a multimillion contract with a huge technological company named Vas2Net and in 2020, she was made the ambassador for Revolution Plus Properties, a Lagos-based property outfit.
