Maryam Shetty was replaced by Dr. Maigari Mahmud and an additional nominee Festus Kayemo by President Bola Tinubu.

This was made known at plenary session of the Senate when Senate President Godswill Akpabio read a letter from the President.

Information gathered by our sources stated that Maryam was already at the National Assembly as at the time of getting to understand that the President had revoked her nomination.
