More heads of MDAs will drop under Tinubu says Asari Dokubo
Asari Dokubo, a former Niger Delta insurgent leader, has suggested that President Bola Tinubu may fire more prominent Nigerians in charge of government agencies.
Dokubo was responding to the dismissal of Abdulrasheed Bawa as acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and Godwin Emefiele as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
With the sack of Bawa and Emefiele, Dokubo said Tinubu would ensure that more heads roll.
He disclosed this while addressing State House Correspondent after meeting Tinubu yesterday.
According to Dokubo: “Emefiele is gone, Bawa is gone, so more heads will roll.
“Those who are standing as an impediment to the good and progress of this country, Mr President will not dili-dali with them.
“Mr President will kick all those against the progress of this country out, and when he does that we have the courage to get rid of oil theft.”
