In Isuochi, a local government area of Umunneochi in Abia State, Onyejocha was born to Eze Bob Ogbonna. She was little when she lost her mother. Onyejocha went to Isuochi’s Ovim Girls School and Central Primary School. She received a diploma in social work/community development from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN in 1988. She graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993 with a second class upper division (Honor). Onyejocha has a master’s degree in shipping from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Oyo State and a master’s degree in international affairs and diplomacy from Imo State University, both earned in 2005.
Onyejocha was involved in politics and student unionism while she was an undergraduate student at the university. In the University of Nigeria, Nnsuka, UNN, students’ union government, she held a number of chairperson positions. Onyejocha spent her 1993 Nigeria National Youth Service year working in the governor of the State of Osun’s protocol office. From this point forward, her interest in politics is reported to have piqued.
She served as managing director of the infant and home goods company Nikkings and Kingzol International Ltd. Her leadership is credited with helping the organization become known on a global scale. Sir Kingsley Onyejocha, her husband, was the owner of the business.

Onyejeocha Chidubem is a Nigerian politician who served in the House of Representatives. The 9th National Assembly’s Federal Representative for the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi constituency
