Onana agrees to join Chelsea
Prior to Thursday evening’s UEFA Champions League final, Chelsea and Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana reportedly reached a personal agreement. The shot-stopper is the Blues’ top pick to replace Mauricio Pochettino as the team’s starting goalkeeper.
Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy are facing uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge, with new head coach Pochettino wanting to sign a new goalkeeper.
A decision on Onana’s future is set to be made after Inter’s Champions League final clash against Manchester City in Istanbul last night. Reports claim that Chelsea have scheduled a meeting with the Italian side in the coming weeks, with the goalkeeper’s future at the top of the agenda.

Following reports that the west Londoners were considering AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, it has now been reported from TuttoMercatoWeb that Onana has already agreed personal terms in principle with Chelsea. The Italian report, however, also claims that Inter have rejected an opening bid worth €40million (£34m).
The opening bid is £18million short of Inter’s valuation of the goalkeeper. The Telegraph’s Matt Law has claimed the Serie A side are demanding €60million (£52m) for his services this summer, leaving Todd Boehly significantly short.
