Ondo: Gov Aiyedatiwa names Oluwatuyi as SSG

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa nominated Tayo Oluwatuyi as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) on Wednesday.
Oluwatuyi’s appointment came after the governor dissolved the State Executive Council (SEC) on Wednesday.
Aiyedatiwa also nominated Abayomi Olasanya as Chief of Protocol, effective immediately.
Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, announced the appointments in a statement.
The new SSG, also known as ‘Tukana,’ worked in the same capacity under the late former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu when his predecessor, Sunday Abegunde, resigned from office.
Oluwatuyi formerly served as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs under the late Akeredolu, as well as Caretaker Chairman under the administration of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
The statement reads:
“The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi (Tukana) as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
“The Governor also approved the appointment of Mr. Abayomi Olasanya as the Chief of Protocol. Both appointments take immediate effect.”
