Osho quits position as Akwa United head coach

Fatai Osho is said to have resigned as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League club Akwa United.

This season, the Promise Keepers have struggled under Osho’s supervision.

This season, the former NPFL champions have three wins in 14 league games.

His final game in command of Akwa United was a 1-0 away loss to Heartland on Sunday.

In 17th place, the Uyo club sits in the bottom half of the NPFL league.

Osho joined Akwa United at the beginning of the current season.
