Skales: We apprehended two online fraudsters at singers residence – EFCC

Two alleged internet fraudsters were detained by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) agents at the home of a musician named John Njeng Njeng (aka Skales).

At House F10, Victoria Crest 4, Lekki, Lagos State, the accused were detained.

Think back to when Skales reported the EFCC for breaking into his home at midnight.

He claimed that at night, using a hammer, personnel from the agency broke into his home through the back door for what they claimed was “a routine check.”

However, according to a statement on the EFCC’s official X page, suspects in online fraud were apprehended at the musician’s home.

The accused were named by the anti-graft agency as Udemba Chukwuemeka (also known as Jody) and Jamal Jamiu Onasola (also known as Jamal).

”The two suspects, suspected of being involved in a dating scam, described Njeng (Skales) as their “mentor”. While Chukwuemeka has been in Njeng’s residence for two years, Onasola has only stayed there for few months,” the statement said.

The EFCC aqdded that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
