Dr. Olasupo Olusi has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI), and President Bola Tinubu has given his approval.
In the beginning, the appointment is for a term of four years.
The Special Advisor to the President (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, made this announcement in a statement on Thursday.
According to Ngelale, Olusi’s nomination was approved by Tinubu after the former BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olukayode Pitan, resigned voluntarily.
Olusi has reportedly worked as a development finance specialist and economist with the World Bank for the past 20 years.
Additionally, he has acted as the Coordinating Minister of the Economy’s and Minister of Finance’s economic advisor.
