Twitter limits number of posts unverified users can read to 300 daily

Twitter, a microblogging platform, has criticized limitations on the number of posts users can see each day in an effort to stop data mining and system abuse.
Elon Musk, the platform’s executive chairman, made this announcement on Saturday via his Twitter account.
He said the restrictions are a temporary measure.
According to the new rule, verified accounts are limited to reading 6,000 posts per day, unverified accounts 600 posts per day, and new unverified accounts to 300 posts per day.
Musk’s announcement was welcomed with knocks, with many condemning the restrictions, which they said was a plot to make more users subscribe to the Twitter blue badge.
Recall that Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, came under heavy criticism last year after launching a new subscription service for $7.99 a month.
