Why I will be the first to condemn President Tinubu – Ayodele Fayose

Ayo Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti, met with President Bola Tinubu on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He afterwards declared that he would be the first to condemn the president if he broke campaign pledges.
But after the meeting, he told reporters that Tinubu had made progress since taking office and should be praised.
According to Fayose, Nigerians must unite behind the president because he is alert and has a clear vision for the future of the nation now that the elections are done and it is time to rule.
The governor asserts that President Tinubu cannot accomplish this on his own.
Even though he is collaborating with Tinubu and some opposition party leaders, including Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, and Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, he will never join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) because he is still a member of the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Fayose stated that he did not anticipate Tinubu to lose, adding that if there is a delay, it will not be on the president’s part.
