Akwa United names Fatai Osho as new head coach
Akwa United, a team in the Nigeria Professional Football League, has introduced Fatai Osho as their new head coach.
On Wednesday afternoon, Osho was introduced in a grand event at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
After Deji Ayeni, the team’s former manager, resigned the position at the conclusion of the previous campaign, the young strategist stepped into the position.
The club’s chairman, Paul Bassey, earlier presented the former Remo Stars coach to Monday Ebong Uko, the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports.
Osho stated that his reading is for the next campaign and that he is optimistic about a strong showing.
Sir, I have to admit that Akwa United is different from all the clubs I’ve worked at. The Club management is really competent, and we have been given all the resources we need to be successful.
“We have recruited well and I can say without any fear of contradiction that we are ready for the league”.
