At the age of 19 and 21 respectively, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim had bagged a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Abuja and two Master’s degrees from Webster University.
She grew up in Abuja and schooled at Aruwa Nursery school and Jabi primary school (now LEA primary School, Jabi) where she had her West African Senior School Certificate.
She did her compulsory National Youth Service Corps at NNPC in Kaduna Zonal office .

Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim’s father was an Abuja-based engineer and developer, S.K. Danladi and her mother is Aisha Sulaiman, a classroom teacher. She is the second child among eight siblings. She is also married with children.
Career
She started her career with Abuja Geographic Information Systems( AGIS) before relocating to the United Kingdom where she worked with the human resource,Business and Management before becoming a certified [SAP] HCM consultant.
She also worked with Mary Kay as a senior sales director.
She was a special adviser on strategic communication to the minister of state for education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba.
She was appointed member of the Nasarawa State economic advisory council by the Executive Governor of Nassarawa State Engr. A. A. Sule in 2019.
From 2020 to 2021, She was the Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in persons(NAPTIP), a position she served for just six months prior to her appointment as Federal Commissioner of the National Commission For Refugees Migrants And Internally Displaced Persons in 2021 by president Mohammadu Buhari.
She is currently the Minister of State, Police Affairs of the federation after appointment by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in August 2023.
