Indabosky Bahose: 10 things to know about popular pastor Odumeje

Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje is a controversial Anambra-based radical Nigerian Pastor and musician who is the founder of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry.

He is widely known for his unusual and questionable religious lifestyle which mainly includes lifting or slamming people on empty chairs like WWE superstars earning him the title of a ‘SmackDown Pastor’ or the ‘heavyweight servant of the Most High‘.

He shares close bonds with some Nollywood stars including, Rita Edochie, Jerry Amilo, Yul Edochie, Zubby Micheal and more.

The controversial Minister is often accused of performing major miracles like raising the dead, lifting the crippled from wheelchair, giving sight to the blind amongst others.

Here are 10 things to know about prophet Odumeje.

  1. Odùméje was born as the third-born child among six children into the family of Mr and Mrs Pius Ohanaemere on 9th September, 1982 in Anambra State but originally hails from Orlu in Imo State.
  2. He schooled at Providence Secondary School after his primary education at Nweje.
  3. He went into leather business to make ends meet while growing up in Onitsha before he ventured into ministry and founded the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry Onitsha, on 10th September 2010.
  4. He ministry first started as a deliverance ministry in a public yard at No 14 Osumu street Odakpu, Onitsha before it relocated to Okija hall and subsequently to Arondizuogu hall, all in Odakpu, Anambra State.
  5. The church moved to its permanent site at No. 88 Bida road Fegge, Onitsha, having over 20,000 seating capacity.
  6. He has lots of nicknames attached to him owing to his self-acclaimed powers, some of these names are “Indaboski Bahose”, “Odumeje the Lion himself”, “the Liquid Metal”, “the SmackDown pastor”, “Dabush Kabash”, “Lefase Fare”, “Abido Shaker”, ” Citadel”, Santus Sanitorious’ and “Gandusa Ganduja”.
  7. He had a clash with a former female associate, known as Ada Jesus, who accused him of being a false prophet and a deceiver who stage managed miracles.
  8. He is happily married to Uju Ohanaemere and the union is blessed with four children, 2 boys and 2 girls.
  9. The Minister has an estimated net worth of about N200 million.
  10. He tags himself as the great lion and champion of the East.
