Odumosu has devoted at least 32 years of his life to helping the nation by working in the police force. On March 3, 1990, he joined the police. Since joining the police force, he has completed a number of courses to help him better understand his position and the success of the department’s operations. He took a number of classes at the Police Staff College, such as the intermediate command course and the strategic leadership command course.
The 60-year-old is a fellow of the International Institute of Professional Security, a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Corporate Administration, and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Administration, among other associations.
Study Background
Hakeem Odumusa is skilled not just in police operations but also in a variety of other areas. He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and from the Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ) in Lagos with a postgraduate diploma in public relations and marketing.
Odumosu also received three degrees from the University of Lagos, including a higher diploma in terrorist studies, an advanced diploma in law enforcement administration, and a postgraduate higher diploma in security management operations.
At Lagos State University’s public administration department, he received a master’s degree. Another master’s degree in peace studies and conflict resolution from the National Open University is something he plans to pursue. The Lagos CP also graduated from NOUN with an L.L.B. in law.

Hakeem Odumusa served as Lagos CP he also worked in a number of states across the nation. He worked as an operations officer in Lagos for the Agege Isokoko division, the Ketu division, the Satellite division, and the Mushin Area ‘d’ command. In addition, he held leadership positions in the governor’s office, Alausa, Ikeja, and the task force on environmental and special offenses for the state of Lagos.
Odumosu has held a number of positions in different states, such as Edo, Ogun, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Oyo, and Abuja, the federal capital.
Author Of English Book
Odumosu earned a bachelor’s degree in English, but he also put the skills he learned to work improving the public’s spoken and written English. Principles of English Language, 1005 Objective Questions and Answers in English Language, and the drama book the Price of Indiscipline are among the three works he has written.
