Super Eagles beats Dubai 12-0 in friendly match ahead of AFCON

Nigeria’s Super Eagles won a friendly over a Dubai squad 12-0 on Sunday at their Abu Dhabi training facility.
The game was played behind closed doors in preparation for the Super Eagles’ campaign at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023, which begins on January 13 in Cote D’Ivoire.
The Eagles lead 6-0 at halftime, demonstrating their domination throughout the contest with excellent coordination and talent.
Ademola Lookman scored four goals, and Victor Osimhen added two.
Moses was replaced. Sadiq Umar and Ahmed Musa each scored once, with Simon scoring twice.
Nigeria’s annihilation was capped by two own goals from their opponents.
On Monday, the three-time African champions will play another friendly against Guinea’s Syli National at Bani Yas Stadium.
